Mexican Rivirea back for cruising in 2015

Over the last few years mainstream cruise companies have pulled out of Itineraries featuring Acapulco and other Mexican Riviera destinations. Only the uber plush cruise companies such as: Regent Seven Seas, Silversea and Oceania have continued to use this area.

Concerns over the safety of passengers in port and increased competition from destinations elsewhere are the main reasons... until now!!!!

2015 will see the return of Carnival Cruise Lines with year round Mexican Riviera itineraries

Norwegian Star is currently featuring Mazatlan as is Holland America Lines Veendam

Azamara have returned to the area this year

Princess Cruises will also return for 2015 sailings

So with improved passenger experiences at ports and staying true to Mexican Culture all to look forward to............. Whats not to like????? I don't know about you but im itching to go.....

Norwegian Cruise Lines ship upgrade programme

So Norwegian Cruise Lines are spending $250 Million in renovations on all their ships by 2015!!!

WHY?

Because they want to bring 'Breakaway' class dining and entertainment features for all to enjoy! (Breakaway is their newest ship in its fleet)

HOW?

New menus will be introduced for the main dining room, garden cafes, also expanding O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill, Carlo's Bake Shop treats & Sugarcane Mojito bar (only on Getaway ship at present) to all ships.

They are developing new shows, game shows and theme nights along with their current line ups. H2Glow party is being expanded to all ships too.

The five ships that feature Nickelodeon entertainment will see new kids activities, dining experiences and meet & greets on board.

Passengers will be able to stay in touch with talk and text via iConcierge app. Wi Fi will also undergo improvements.

Technological upgrades will also take place in an effort to reduce emissions!
